Description
Product Name: Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) Framing Members
What it is LVL is an engineered wood product produced by bonding rotary-peeled veneers (≤ 3 mm thick) with moisture-resistant phenolic adhesive under heat and pressure. All veneers are grain-aligned longitudinally, giving the billet the same mechanical logic as a solid timber beam—but with far higher strength, stiffness and reliability.

Why spec LVL for framing
•LVL Framing 2–3× the bending strength of No. 2 solid sawn, yet 10 % lighter
•LVL Framing Mill-certified E and Fb eliminate field grading guess-work
• LVL Framing Virtually no twist, warp, crown or checking = straighter walls & floors
• LVL Framing Long lengths allow single-piece spans, cutting joints and labour
• LVL Framing Knot-free edges mean full-depth nailing and easier MEP penetrations
