Description
LVL Structural Wood Beam Straight Lumber
USED:
1) Suitable for various fumigation-free packaging; templates; and beams, rafters, and columns required for various building structures.
2) Wooden structural material, which can replace structural steel or reinforced concrete.
3) Packaging material for machinery and equipment.
PRODUCTION PROCESS:
LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) is a new type of structural material made by pressing together multiple layers of veneers glued together along the same fiber direction.
The manufacturing process of LVL is as follows: logs are turned into standard-sized boards, which are then cut into veneers; after drying, phenolic resin adhesive is evenly sprayed onto the joint surfaces of the veneers and aged; the aged veneers are laid flat layer by layer, with carbon fiber layers filled between the veneer layers; then, cold pressing, hot pressing, and finally, slitting, chamfering, and anti-corrosion treatment are performed to produce LVL boards.
LVL is mainly used in various packaging plants and wood product factories, especially suitable for export packaging of machinery, glass, and chemical products, as well as decorative wooden framing.
